Weight loss all in the mind.

Forget counting calories, new research has found shedding weight is all in the mind. An Otago college study has found 'non-dieting ' interventions can be effective in reducing mental trouble and medical symptoms in ladies who are overweight. Analyst Caroline Horwath announces the new approach takes the focus off body weight and instead gets ladies to hear their own body signals. She asserts it concentrates on improving lifestyle behaviours to
augment health independently of weight loss. Dr Horwath announces the standard dieting approach of limiting calories and food types has produced poor results in achieving long-term weight loss and several dieters finish up heavier than when they commenced. She is saying eating should be a natural activity related to hunger, instead of stress. Dr Horwath announces relaxation strategies and avoiding stress-related triggers are also critical methods.
